Gasket Games and Focus Home have revealed Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Storm Ground, a new strategy game set in the fantasy world of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. Revealed at Gamescom's Opening Night Live, the game will feature the Stormcast Eternals as its heroic faction, facing off against Nagash's undead Nighthaunt. No gameplay or release date was given, but the game will launch in 2021 on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. It does look like we'll be able to command a Lord-Celestant mounted on a Stardrake, though, so that's good news. We previously knew that Gasket Games' debut title would be an Age of Sigmar strategy game, and it could be a part of Games Workshop's push for more AAA Warhammer games. Gasket Games is made up of veterans from Relic Games, who made the beloved Warhammer 40,000 Dawn of War games, as well as staff who previously worked at Blackbird Interactive on Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, and so there's the possibility that this could be a strong strategy offering.
