Pop icon signs 5-year deal with Kim Kardashian: Hollywood developer.

Due for release in the first half of 2016, the game will let players interact with the pop singer and “experience the glitz and glamour of the entertainment business”. The game is being developed by Glu Mobile, the company behind last year’s Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, and will feature Britney’s voice, likeness and “creative influence”.

The game has yet to be titled.

“Everyone will get a better game to play as a result,” says Dead Island team.

“We have always set ourselves a big goal for Dead Island 2: to create the sequel that takes Dead Island to the next level,” reads a message posted by the game’s official Twitter account. “A game that takes what our fans tell us they love about Dead Island – multiple different characters to play with, co-op, and turning a paradise setting into a zombie slaughter melee – and a game that adds a ton more content and combat options on top of that.

Splatoon focussed Nintendo Direct set for May 7

Promises new game details.

Those tuning in to Twitch or the Nintendo Direct website will be treated to new game details ahead of the game’s May 29 release.

A Wii U console bundle including a physical copy of Splatoon will launch in Europe and the UK on June 19, Nintendo of Europe announced earlier this month. You’ll get a Premium 32GB black Wii U console, GamePad and a copy of the game. There’s no word on pricing just yet.

You can pre-order Splatoon right now for only £30.
