Twitch and Amazon Announce Twitch Prime

Twitch and Amazon have announced Twitch Prime, a new set of video game-related benefits for Amazon Prime members.

Subscribers will now get exclusive discounts on pre-orders and new-release physical games for the first two weeks after launch. Amazon is offering free release day delivery on pre-orders as well. Members will also receive an updated selection of free digital games and in-game loot, such as characters and skins.

Starting today and until November 6, Twitch Prime members can claim Hearthstone’s new hero, Tyrande Whisperwind, along with a custom card pack. In October, a Twitch Prime branded skin from Smite, and a free copy of Streamline, a new game from Proletariat Studios, will be up grabs.
