Bungie may be working on an official fan convention, having registered a trademark in the US for "DestinyCon".
As reported by DualShockers, the application was filed under classification 41, which allows for "organizing and conducting fan conventions in the fields of video and computer games, more particularly in connection with the game 'Destiny'.”
This doesn't necessarily mean that Bungie or Activision has plans for a convention, however. Destiny streamer ProfessorBroman - who already runs a Destiny fan convention - points out that Bungie had previously forced him to change his event's name from 'Destiny Community Con' to 'GuardianCon', and that this may simply be a matter of IP protection.
