Welcome to the court of King Ezekiel, ruler of the Kingdom! It was with much pomp and circumstance that viewers -- and Carol -- were introduced to the, ahem, flamboyant leader of the horseback-riding warriors seen in the back half of Season 6.
Though the context and characters differed in several big, notable ways, the show actually did a fairly accurate job introducing Ezekiel the same way he was introduced in the comics.
