Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Announced

Fatshark has announced Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, a 4-player co-op shooter coming in 2021. Set in the hive city of Tertium, players and their friends will be set against hordes of enemies based on the many threats of the grimdark Warhammer 40,000 universe. [ignvideo url="https://www.ign.com/videos/2020/07/23/warhammer-40k-darktide-announcement-trailer"] Fatshark has good pedigree in this department, having previously maked the Warhammer: Vermintide games. We called Vermintide 2 "a beautifully dark game", and praised its "hack-n-slash, Left 4 Dead-inspired co-op fun of bashing hordes of rats and zombies to a pulp" in our 8/10 review. Check out everything else announced at the Xbox Games Showcase. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Joe Skrebels is IGN's Executive Editor of News. Follow him on Twitter. Have a tip for us?
