This Gaming Chair Will Massage You as You Play

Last year Acer introduced us to the ultimate gamer’s dream, a gaming chair that massages you as you play. The only problem with that magnificent gaming chair was it was tied to a $14,000 battle station complete with three monitors called the Predator Thronos Air. Well if you just wanted the chair, you’re in luck. Acer has spun off its massaging gaming chair into a product of its own called the Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM. This gaming chair is designed to simulate the feel of a hand massage with two sets of rollers that can reach across your whole back. There are three pre-programmed massage modes designed to target your neck and shoulders, lumbar, or energize you for an intense match. Acer Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM Beyond that gamers can customize the chair’s massage settings as users can adjust the rollers to six different shoulder positions to meet their specific height and width. And if you just have one sore spot, users can program the spot-massage mode to focus on a single area. And if you want to get extra comfortable, users can also lie back in the Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM at a 145-degree angle. To help accommodate all of this flexibility, the Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM features a wide mesh back paired with a large seat that should accommodate most gamers. Acer Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM One extra feature of this gaming chair is it has a pair of Bluetooth speakers built into the headrest. It only produces stereo sound of course, but that’s enough to deliver dynamic sound effects without needing to don a gaming headset. Acer has yet to announce pricing or a release date for the Predator Gaming Chair x OSIM. [poilib element="accentDivider"] Kevin Lee is IGN's Hardware and Roundups Editor.
