Former BioWare, Riot Devs Unveil New Co-op Action RPG

Dauntless, a new online role-playing game from independent developer Phoenix Labs, was revealed tonight at The Game Awards 2016.

This free-to-play co-op action RPG is slated to release for PC sometime in 2017. Dauntless is set in a "science-fantasy world" that was broken into an array of floating islands. As elite warriors called Slayers, players are tasked with protecting humanity by hunting down Behemoths that threaten the land.

Dauntless is being developed by Phoenix Labs, a team of developers comprised of industry veterans from studios that include BioWare, Riot Games, Capcom and Blizzard.
