Chris Pratt Joins Cast of Thor: Love and Thunder

Chris Pratt will reportedly reprise his role as Peter Quill, aka Star-Lord, in Marvel's Thor: Love and Thunder. Pratt, who leads the MCU's Guardians of the Galaxy franchise, will join Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tessa Thompson, and Christian Bale in the Taika Waititi-directed sequel. Waititi will also once again voice Thor's alien pal Korg. Peter Quill and Thor enjoyed a friendly rivalry in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, the latter of which saw the heavyset Bro Thor leave his fellow Asgardians behind on Earth under the leadership of Valkyrie to join the Guardians. The Hollywood Reporter implies other members of the Guardians could appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. According to THR's Heat Vision newsletter, "Love and Thunder is due to shoot in Australia in January, and Pratt will do a short round of additional photography for his sci-fi movie The Tomorrow War before heading to the land Down Under." While we don't know which character Christian Bale is playing, we do have some theories about the role.
