TWD: Why Abraham Should Have Been the Crossover Character

Warning: Spoilers for The Walking Dead/Fear the Walking Dead follow...

AMC's Talking Dead recenly revealed that Lennie James' Morgan would be the connective tissue, the crossover character, between The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.

There's been plenty of speculation since it was announced at SDCC that there would be, in fact, a crossover between the two shows (despite Fear the Walking Dead, from a time standpoint, taking place in the past) on how the shows would connect, especially since creator Robert Kirkman confirmed at NYCC that the crossover would come via a specific character.
