The first, foul-mouthed teaser trailer for Goon: Last of the Enforcers has hit the ice today, giving us our first glimpse of Doug “The Thug” Glatt – the goon with a heart of gold – since the original 2011 cult comedy.
The Goon sequel marks the directorial debut of Jay Baruchel, who co-wrote the script for the original Goon with Evan Goldberg and has also written Goon: Last of the Enforcers with Jesse Chabot.
Baruchel will also be back in front of the camera, alongside returning stars Seann William Scott, Alison Pill, Liev Schreiber, Marc-André Grondin, Kim Coates, and more. Joining the cast are Elisha Cuthbert and Wyatt Russell.
Goon: Last of the Enforcers checks into Canadian theatres on March 17, 2017. The release date in other territories is yet to be confirmed.
