Daniel Craig is set to star in the television adaptation of Jonathan Franzen's novel Purity, and more than a couple networks want to host it.
According to Variety, "Showtime, Netflix, FX, and at least three other outlets" are in talks with the show's producers.
Producer Scott Rudin is said to be looking to book a "20-episode order" for the show, which will be written by Todd Field and Franzen, with Field as director.
Talks are still in the early stages, and according to sources, the show could go to any network.
Craig's been itching to move on from his role as James Bond—and recently said he'd rather "slash his wrists" than make another Bond movie—so it seems this television role could be a good change for the actor. Craig appeared regularly on television in the UK before his film career took off, but Purity would be his first US television series.
