Evolve has shipped 2.5 million units

Multiplayer shooter still considered a key long-term franchise for 2K.






According to the publisher, the title performed above expectations and is still considered a key long-term franchise for 2K. 20 percent of sales are said to have been delivered digitally.


The amount of copies figures sold through to consumers, however, has not been revealed, with the 2.5m figure only accounting for copies shipped into retailers and sold through digital platforms.


Evolve launched on PS4, Xbox One and PC in February, heading straight to the top of the UK video game charts despite attracting some criticism for its approach to downloadable content.
