The terrifying boat NPCs found in Marvel's Spider-Man on PS4 have received a cheeky easter egg in Spider-Man Remastered on PS5. If you didn't spot them on your first playthrough, you can see the haunting, half-rendered monsters in their original form via our video from 2018. These beasts of obvious burden return in Spider-Man Remastered on PS5, but Insomniac has slipped in a nod to their meme-worthy potential in-game. Beyond the lighting improvements making the top of their hedronic heads look even more gruesome, one of the NPCs now totes a sticky note on his chest which says "Did you miss us? <3" We've gone looking for Boat NPCs in Spider-Man: Miles Morales too, but sadly we haven't been able to find a boat close enought to shore to check out its passengers. The Ratchet and Clank developer also kept the Avengers 'west-coast' reference from the original, which you can see here.
