Nioh 1 & 2 Remastered For PS5 Announced, Plus PC Port

Koei Tecmo has announced that it is bringing Nioh 1 and Nioh 2 to PS5 as remastered collections in 2021, as well as bringing Nioh 2 to PC. On February 5, 2021, four Nioh games will be released over three different platforms. On PS5, players can buy The Nioh Collection, which contains Nioh Remastered and Nioh 2 Remastered, or buy the games separately as individual releases. PS4 and PC players can grab Nioh 2: The Complete Edition, which packages the base game with its three DLC expansions: The Tengu's Disciple, Darkness in the Capital, and The First Samurai. Additionally, owners of the Nioh 2 base game on PS4 can upgrade to the remaster on PS5, although any DLC they don't own will not be included. The PS5 remasters support 4K resolution and up to 120 FPS gameplay. The PC release of Nioh 2 supports 4K Ultra-HD and ultra-widescreen resolutions, as well as HDR and 144Hz monitors, with frame rates of up to 120FPS on capable systems. Full mouse and keyboard custom mapping, as well as gamepads, is supported by this version. Unique to the PC version of the game is the 'Valve Helmet', a piece of armour available with all purchases of the game. You can see it in the gallery above.
