Johnny Depp, who has played Grindelwald in the first two Fantastic Beasts films has officially resigned from his role for future installments following ongoing personal abuse allegations. A statement from Warner Bros. reads: "Johnny Depp will depart the Fantastic Beasts franchise. We thank Johnny for his work on the films to date.
