Spider-Man’s MCU Costume Can Do Way More Than the Trailers Let On

Some spoilers for Spider-Man: Homecoming follow.

I visited the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming last summer, and while there the film’s co-producer Eric Carroll dropped some pretty cool -- and some fans might say controversial -- info. Read no further if you want to stay completely spoiler free, however.

Carroll explained that in Homecoming, Spidey’s costume will have a JARVIS-type AI system not unlike Tony Stark/Iron Man’s own suits of armor do.

Of course, this shouldn’t be too much of a surprise since Robert Downey, Jr.'s Stark designed and built the suit for the Tom Holland Spider-Man. But still, it certainly is a new direction for the wallcrawler to take on the big screen.
