SEGA Restricts Puyo Puyo Tetris Video Streaming in Japan

SEGA Japan has placed restrictions on users who wish to stream the puzzle game Puyo Puyo Tetris.

The Japanese Puyo Puyo website lists restrictions for users who wish to stream the game, essentially stating that players can't stream on platforms that are monetized or stream parts of the Adventure Mode due to spoilers.

We reached out to SEGA to confirm which regions these restrictions to Puyo Puyo Tetris will apply, and the company confirmed the streaming limitations apply only to Japan:

We highly encourage our American and European fans to stream the game when it comes out (there are no PS4 share button restrictions). We want them to share their experiences with the world, but we do ask them to please be conscious of revealing Adventure Mode story cutscenes.
