The Batman has been delayed from October 1, 2021 to March 4, 2022, while Matrix 4 has been moved up from its April 1, 2022 release date to December 22, 2021. As reported by Variety, The Batman was one of certain movies delayed by Warner Bros. that also include The Flash and Shazam 2. The Flash was delayed from its June 2, 2022 date to November 4, 2022, while Shazam 2 will debut in theaters on June 2, 2023 instead of its original date of November 4, 2022.
