Visceral Games general manager Steve Papoutsis leaves EA

EA veteran to be replaced by son of former chairman.






Papoutsis leaves EA just weeks after the launch of Battlefield Hardline, the studio’s first release in the hit shooter series, and after 15 years at the publisher. Prior to Hardline he helped contribute to games in the Dead Space, Army of Two and Lord of the Rings series.


He is to be replaced by Scott Probst, the son of former EA chairman Larry Probst.


“I can confirm Steve is no longer with EA,” an EA spokesperson told VideoGamer.com. “We are thankful for Steve’s many contributions to EA and wish him the best.”
