Five Nights at Freddy's 4 announced for Halloween 2015 release

Title suggests this will be the final instalment in the horror game series.

There’s no info to go on other than an announcement image, which features nightmarish animatronic Freddy tipping his hat.

Freddy’s 3 launched back in March, only four months after the second game hit Steam. Amazingly the first game only hit Steam on August 18 last year.

Bigger things are coming for Freddy though, with a feature film planned by Warner Bros.

“The story really lends itself to being a movie and it taps into a largely unexplored niche of horror that a lot of people will be able to relate to,” said Cawthon earlier this month.
