Otsuka calls for fans to stop cancelling pre-orders.

In a tweet posted yesterday (translated by Google and @JunkerHQnet), Otsuka is said to have asked fans to stop boycotting The Phantom Pain, saying: “The TPP team is the same, so please don’t cancel preorders or encourage others not to buy it.”

Konami removed Kojima’s name and Kojima Productions’ logo from Metal Gear Solid branding last month, prompting speculation of a feud between the two parties.
