New Need For Speed movie gets green light

Need For Speed heads to China for movie sequel.






The movie will be the second major production based on EA’s hit racing franchise, and will allegedly be developed as a co-production between studios in the US and China.


Much of the film, The Wrap states, will be filmed in China and feature significant Chinese talent, with production set to begin later this year.


It isn’t yet clear, however, whether Breaking Bad star Aaron Paul will return to reprise his role for the sequel or who is on board to direct. More details are reportedly due to be announced in the coming weeks.
