Leviathan Is Final Destination Meets Godzilla

Whipping out a Ouija board at a party might be good for innocent laughs in the real world, but in this new comic book series from writer John Layman (Chew), artist Nick Pitarra (Manhattan Projects) and colorist Mike Garland (Manhattan Projects), it summons a 500 foot-tall, fire-breathing monster. That’s the premise of Leviathan, a new series from Image Comics announced at Image Expo 2018, which features a group of young people who are now running for their lives as the accidentally-summoned kaiju hunts them down. It’s Godzilla via black magic instead of radiation with the horror formula of Final Destination.
