Little Witch Academia's Netflix Release Date Announced

The first 13 episodes of Studio Trigger's Little Witch Academia anime series are coming to Netflix on June 30.

Little Witch Academia began airing in Japan on January 9 and has a total of 25 episodes. Netflix did not say when the remaining 12 episodes would be added to the streaming service.

The series stars Akko, Sucy, and Lotte, three witches in training at Luna Nova Magical Academy and follows their adventures. Netflix already has the two Little Witch Academia short films (Little Witch Academia and Little Witch Academia: The Enchanted Parade) available for streaming.

Netflix also acquired the upcoming Godzilla anime movie and is releasing its Death Note original live-action movie later this summer.
