James Cameron, known for films like Avatar, Titanic, Aliens and more, has gone on record saying he enjoyed Aquaman, but criticized the lack of realism in its underwater scenes.
In an interview with Yahoo, Cameron gave his opinion on the film, saying "I think it’s great fun,” but goes on to explain why he couldn’t have directed a film like it.
"I never could have made that film, because it requires this kind of total dreamlike disconnection from any sense of physics or reality,” said Cameron. "People just kind of zoom around underwater, because they propel themselves mentally, I guess, I don’t know. But it’s cool! You buy it on its own terms.”
