Super Mario Odyssey Release Date Announced

During the Nintendo Spotlight event today, Nintendo confirmed that Super Mario Odyssey will be released for Nintendo Switch on October 27, 2017.

A trailer shown during the event revealed new features like throwing your hat to take control of enemies, as well as 8-bit-inspired areas, multiple new hats and outfits, and more.

Super Mario Odyssey was first teased alongside Switch's initial announcement, and the title was unveiled back in January during Nintendo Switch’s reveal event. We expect to have much more news as E3 continues, so keep an eye on IGN’s E3 hub for the latest announcements as they’re revealed.
