Pac-Man Vs., developed in 2003 by Nintendo under Shigeru Miyamoto and Pac-Man creator Toru Iwatani, will be included in Bandai Namco's upcoming Nintendo Switch version of Namco Museum.
Namco Museum, which also includes arcade classics like the original Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, Rolling Thunder 2, and Splatterhouse, will be available to purchase for $30 on July 28.
Pac-Man Vs. — originally on GameCube — pits three player-controlled ghosts against one player-controlled Pac-Man in the classic Pac-Man maze. Playing local multiplayer with four players requires two separate Nintendo Switch consoles. A representative for Bandai Namco told IGN that the player controlling Pac-Man will use their Nintendo Switch in tabletop mode, controlling Pac-Man with one Joy-Con controller, while the three players chasing Pac-Man can control the ghosts on the second Switch in TV mode using the remaining three Joy-Con controllers.
