PS4 sales hit 2 million in the UK

PS4 console sales accelerating as Sony hits 2m milestone.

The milestone follows just 8 months after it was announced that the console had sold 1 million units, and suggests that PS4 sales may actually be accelerating in the UK. 1 million PS4 consoles were sold in the country within its first 42 weeks on sale, reaching 2 million just 33 weeks later.

The figure brings total worldwide sales of the console to 22.3m, and follows shortly after GAME revealed that over 3 million current-gen consoles had been sold in the UK.
