What is Nintendo going to show off or announce during its update for Wii U and 3DS owners?

What Nintendo is going to show off is unclear, but we know 3DS and Wii U owners will get news. Nintendo has also said it is going to make new announcements, so fingers crossed for some new games and not just Virtual Console titles.
