“Konami has switched from a studio-based to a headquarters-based organization”, publisher states while explaining reason for logo’s removal.
As spotted by GameSpot, the studio’s logo originally featured in the corner of the game’s website, but it has since been removed with only the Fox Engine logo remaining.
The decision to remove the studio’s name follows shortly after the Kojima Productions logo and Hideo Kojima’s name were pulled from Metal Gear Solid branding earlier this month.
The future of Silent Hills – and Kojima Productions – has remained unclear for weeks after it was first reported that Hideo Kojima is to leave Konami once work on Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has been completed.
