Final Fantasy Type-0 HD ships over 1 million units

Latest Final Fantasy off to a good start – but is it all down to the FFXV demo?

The game launched across Europe on March 20 and offers an HD update of 2011 PSP action game Final Fantasy Type-0. All day one editions also included access to an early demo of Final Fantasy XV.

What isn’t clear, however, is how many copies have actually sold through to consumers; the 1m+ figure only accounts for units shipped into retailers.

A release date for Final Fantasy XV has yet to be announced.
