Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer introduces Amiibo cards to let you create your dream home

New Animal Crossing spin-off arriving on Nintendo 3DS this autumn.

Coming to Nintendo 3DS this autumn, Happy Home Designer tasks players with designing and decorating homes for Animal Crossing’s range of characters, furnishing their home with new items to make them happy.

Additional houses can be designed by purchasing a new range of Amiibo cards featuring new characters, which can be scanned into the game using the New 3DS and New 3DS XL’s built-in NFC reader or, if you’re still using an older 3DS, by purchasing a separate NFC accessory.

The cards will also let players invite other characters to visit their houses.
