Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery Devs Lay off Staff in Wake of Disney Partnership

Just weeks after securing a multi-year partnership with Disney, Jam City has announced a restructure that has resulted in a number of layoffs.

Talking to GamesBeat, one anonymous source said the total number of staff laid off was significant. The developer reportedly had layoffs earlier this year, with Gamasutra saying that the rumoured cuts were sizable.

"Jam City rolled out organizational changes on Friday that altered some teams and staff positions," the studio said in a statement. "We are reallocating resources to support the goals of our global business.
