Specifics for the new Poké Ball Plus Accessory have been revealed following the announcement trailer for Pokémon Let's Go Eevee and Let’s Go Pikachu.

Unless you’ve been living under a Rockruff for the last 24 hours you’ll have noticed that there’s a new Pokémon game incoming and it’s accompanied by a controller/keep-sake in the shape of a Poké Ball. A new post on the Nintendo Website reveals exactly what this cool little accessory does.

When used in partnership with Pokémon Let's Go Eevee or Pokémon Let's Go Pikachu on Nintendo Switch, the Poké Ball plus is essentially a Joy-Con. You can move, battle, navigate menus and even pretend to throw it to catch a Pokémon in game.
