True Detective Season 3 Star Confirmed

HBO has confirmed today that Moonlight and Luke Cage's Mahershala Ali will star in the third season of True Detective.

While the show is currently waiting on a director, Ali's possible inclusion had been previously reported. HBO's President of Programming Casey Bloys confirmed Ali's involvement during today's Television Critics Association press tour executive session for the network.
