Today at the Television Critics Association press tour, HBO president Casey Bloys was asked to clarify that none of the Game of Thrones spinoff shows that are currently being considered include characters from the current show.
"That is correct," Bloys sated. So even if a character is lucky enough to survive all eight seasons of Game of Thrones, there will be no further adventures with them.
So no Everyone Loves Khaleesi or House Stark Hunters. Sorry.
Back in May, HBO confirmed that they were working on four potential Game of Thrones prequel series with four different writers, each exploring various time periods set in George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire universe.
