PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds is coming to Xbox One in late 2017. Brendan 'PlayerUnknown' Greene took the stage during Microsoft's E3 2017 to make the official announcement.
The game will launch on Xbox as a console exclusive, but that implies that it may come to other platforms at a later date.
The game will receive an Xbox One X update when the new console arrives on November 7.
In May, Battlegrounds creator Greene told Business Insider that a console port was in the works, but gave no specific timeframe.
