Metroid: Samus Returns Amiibo Revealed

During today's Nintendo Treehouse Live event at E3 2017, the company revealed a new Samus Aran and the Metroid amiibo.

Both amiibo will be compatible with Metroid: Samus Returns, a re-imagining of Metroid II: Return of Samus, which will be released for Nintendo 3DS on September 15. The new Metroid amiibo has a squishy texture and features the alien creature breaking out of its glass enclosure.
