Metal Gear Survive has been delayed and will now release in early 2018 for PlayStation 4, Windows PC and Xbox One.
The four-player survival co-op game was previously due for release sometime in late 2017. Konami representatives confirmed to Polygon that the team behind Metal Gear Survive needs more time to polish the game and, as a result, it has been "pushed back a few months."
Announced by Konami last year, Metal Gear Survive is set within the Metal Gear universe and takes place directly after the events of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes. Players will be tasked with fighting off zombie-like enemies with a slew of brand new weaponry.
