Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the next installment in Ubisoft's mega-franchise and might be the best entry of all. In our Assassin's Creed Odyssey review, we gave it a 9.2, calling it a "resounding achievement in world building, environment, and engaging gameplay."

As is almost always the case with triple-A releases, there is a huge selection of editions and preorder bonuses to entice you into securing your copy of the game ahead of time. The Assassin's Creed Odyssey release date is October 5, but some editions of the game let you start playing earlier, on October 2 (that's today).
