Box Office Horror: Jigsaw Debuts at No. 1

Jigsaw topped the domestic box office in its debut this weekend, earning an estimated $16.3 million.

The horror film, which serves as the eighth entry in the Saw franchise, performed a bit below projections, which anticipated a $20 million opening weekend. Jigsaw reportedly cost $10 million to produce and garnered at B CinemaScore from moviegoers.
