The upcoming movie based on Stephen King's The Dark Tower series has reportedly been delayed.
According to Entertainment Weekly, the movie has been pushed from its original February 17 debut to sometime next summer.
The outlet's sources say that while the film wrapped production in July, post-production work won't be completed in time for a February 2017 debut. The studio needs more time to work on the movie's visual effects, as well as additional time to promote the film. As such, theaters are now being informed about the delay.
