Nintendo Updates Software Sales to Date

Nintendo has released updated software sales for Wii U and 3DS.

Leading the charge on Wii U is Mario Kart 8, which has shifted some eight million copies - meaning 60% of the 13.3 million Wii U owners out there have bought the game. Meanwhile on 3DS, Pokemon X and Pokemon Y are the highest grossing games at 15.64 million copies sold, followed closely by Mario Kart 7 at 13.94 million.

Here’s a breakdown of the highest software sales to date.

• Mario Kart 8 - 8.00 million pcs.
• New Super Mario Bros. U - 5.45 million pcs.
• Super Mario 3D World - 5.19 million pcs.
• Nintendo Land - 5.13 million pcs.
