At E3 today, Bethesda announced that Quake Champions will add Wolfenstein's B.J. Blazkowicz as a playable champion in the game, and that the game is now available in open beta.
Previously only available in a closed beta, Quake Champions will now be in open beta as part of the game's E3 2017 update, which also adds 3 new maps, the brand-new Tri-bolt weapon, and other new and improved features to explore. According to Bethesda players are "continuously being let in, so sign up now and you’ll immediately receive your beta key."
Quake Champions was announced at last year's E3 from developer Id Software and marks the long-awaited return of the franchise, which was inactive for years despite lending its name to Bethesda's annual QuakeCon convention.
