PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds Sells 4 Million Copies

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was released into Early Access 3 months ago today - and it just hit 4 million copies sold.

Announced by PlayerUnknown himself, Brendan Green, the battle royale game continues to gain players, well before its finished version:

3 months... 4 million copies of @PUBATTLEGROUNDS sold... Thank you all again for your continuing support <3

At the beginning of May, Battlegrounds hit the 2 million copies mark, meaning its rate of sales has stayed almost as fast since then - something only likely to be helped by the fact that the game will arrive on Xbox One later this year.
